Pathway Description & CTEPs

The Building Pathway includes the skills of construction trades, woodworking, pre-engineering, technical & architectural drafting, industrial safety, digital electronics, interior design, robotics, 3D modeling/printing, and welding technology.

The building industry is a high wage, high demand industry with faster than average growth in employment opportunities. That means, abundant possibilities for a pathway to economic independence.

Building Pathway programs of study integrate academic and technical preparation and embeds relevant career exploration and work-based learning. Knowledge and skills are acquired in a sequential, standards-based series of courses that are delivered through hands-on, project-based instruction designed to prepare students for all levels of postsecondary study and advanced entry to a career.
